Swedish House Mafia at Coachella 2022

DJ supergroup Swedish House Mafia (SHM) has been around since 2008 and has since made many strides in the music industry being credited with the increased popularity of house music.  They've been nominated for several Billboard Music Awards and DJ Awards while also being named in DJ Magazine's top 100 DJs for several years.  They even won two Grammy Awards and several International Dance Music Awards.

With hits like "Don't You Worry Child" and "Save the World", the talented DJs saw themselves doing two tours during their early years.  After a 5 year hiatus, the group returned in 2018 for their performance at Ultra Miami 2018 where they performed those same classic hits along with their individual solo projects.  After the long wait, fans were certainly excited and surprised to see the group's return to the industry.

Since their return, the group has had two more successful tours in 2019 and 2022 with their Paradise Again World Tour.  On top of the tours, SHM also performed at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to promote their new tour and featured their hit "Moth to a Flame" featuring The Weeknd.

The stage design showed off a massive monolithic circle above the heads of the DJs with several lighting fixtures integrated into the cylindrical design.  The design even made it into the tour - with some minor adjustments.

Laser Technology

The team at ER Productions was brought on to the team to work with the band for their Coachella performance.  With multiple lasers having been built into the set, laser designer Derek Abbott programmed the lasers integrated with Pangolin FB4 using Pangolin BEYOND and Depence Visualizer to visualize lighting and create stunning aerial beam effects.
